Winter 2026 Season Kicks Off!
<p>The wait is finally over! The Winter 2026 season of Hockey Life HL officially kicked off this week with a full slate of opening night games at the Halifax Forum. All eight teams took to the ice, and right from the first faceoff it was clear this season is going to be a battle.</p>
<p>The Mooseheads made an early statement with a dominant 5-1 victory over the Sackville Storm, while the Harbour Wolves and Citadel Knights played a thrilling back-and-forth affair that ended 4-3 in overtime. The North End Bruins looked sharp in their opener, edging the Dartmouth Destroyers 3-2 on a late third-period goal. Meanwhile, the Bedford Blizzard and Cole Harbour Comets skated to a hard-fought 2-2 tie.</p>
<p>With new faces on every roster and some key off-season acquisitions, the race for the playoffs promises to be tighter than ever. Mark your calendars, grab your gear, and get ready for another great season of hockey.</p>
