All-Star Weekend Announcement

<p>Hockey Life HL is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting our inaugural All-Star Weekend on February 28th and March 1st at the Halifax Forum. This two-day event will showcase the best talent from all eight teams in the league and promises to be a celebration of everything that makes beer league hockey great.</p>

<p>Saturday evening will feature a skills competition including fastest skater, hardest shot, accuracy shooting, and a relay race. On Sunday afternoon, Team Gold will take on Team Blue in the All-Star Game itself. Captains from the Mooseheads and Harbour Wolves will draft their squads from a pool of the league's top players, with representatives from every team including the Citadel Knights, North End Bruins, Dartmouth Destroyers, Bedford Blizzard, Sackville Storm, and Cole Harbour Comets.</p>

<p>Fan voting for All-Star selections opens next week on our website. Each team is guaranteed at least two representatives, so make sure to vote for your favourites. Post-game festivities will be held at a local pub downtown, because what's an all-star weekend without some post-game refreshments?</p>
